The Whitman Board of Assessors has conducted a comprehensive reassessment of all classes of properties in the Town of Whitman as mandated by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and has Preliminary Certification.
The proposed assessed values reflect the estimated market value of properties as of January 1, 2021 based on the sales occurring from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020. This has resulted in the Residential Class increasing in valuation by approximately 11%.
The proposed Fiscal 2022 valuations will be available for review beginning on Monday October 18, 2021 thru Monday October 25, 2021 at the Assessor’s Office, Whitman Town Hall. The office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00AM to 4:00PM and Tuesdays from 8:00AM to 7:30PM. The proposed valuations will also be available at the Whitman Public Library during their regular business hours and available online by clicking here
